On Sept 17th we played a quarter final match against the Meadows, with the result a 24-14 defeat. As you can tell from the time
it has taken me to write this note, the result was disappointing as I believed then and now that we had the better
team both from a talent and personal prospective.
We had 38 different players represent LTMGC in the matches and many many more put their name in the hat to play. It was
both a hard and easy task trying to a identify the 12 man team for each match.
I want to offer my congratulations on a good season to all who played, I thought you represented LTMGC with dignity and class.
To all those that didn't get selected, try again next year! What makes LTMGC so great is the number of players willing to risk the
strength of their game. Giving the Captain so many choices is what allows us to put the best team forward.
Although about a dozen players went undefeated in their matches a shout out to Casey Browning who won every match he played
and was the Man of the Matches.
Special thanks to those of you who came out and supported your clubmates, especially Mark Cramer.
Special thanks to Mike Anderson and Bill McDermott for their assistance and support.
Finally, I appreciate the confidence shown in me by the Board by selecting me as the team Captain, Thank you.
